Keeping with that goal, our new K9 Glucosamine & HA (Hyaluronic Acid) formula is the first vegetarian Glucosamine and Hyaluronic Acid combination of its kind, and is associated with joint health.
As we all know, a healthy dog needs healthy joints. Here are just a few of the highlights of our K9 Glucosamine Chondroitin joint supplement for dogs.
– 100% Vegetarian—contains no shellfish or beef
– Offers better value than other HA formulas that lack ingredients like MSM, Grape Seed Extract, Manganese, Boron and Omega Fatty Acids
– Recommended for any dog with common allergic reactions, including those triggered animal-based ingredients such as beef or shellfish.
K9 Vegetarian Glucosamine replaces Chondroitin Sulfate (only available from animal sources) with USP grade Glucosamine derived from vegetable sources and is supported by omega fatty acids, and antioxidants to provide a full spectrum of beneficial joint ingredients. K9 Vegetarian Glucosamine chondroitin for dogs is a liquid joint supplement for dogs that need a vegetarian diet. Manufactured by Liquid Health Pets in the USA.

Quality Ingredients
While it isn’t view-able in the company provided photos, you can see in another review that the ingredients in this product are the same as it’s more expensive competitor, with the exception that it actually has 25 mg MORE Omega 3, 6 & 9 added. Like anything else, it should be used once and your pup should be monitored to make sure there isn’t any obvious stomach pain or discomfort, which after reading other reviews, can apparently can be a thing with small dogs under 10 pounds. I have a 15 pound Maltese mix though and his stomach takes this just fine. It does not need to be drank straight either. You can just take the 1 – 2 teaspoons, depending on your dog’s size, and pour it over their hard food. My guy eats it right up like it isn’t even there, so I’ll assume that it tastes alright. He’ll technically be a ‘senior’ dog come this January, and he still flies around my apartment like a first year puppy.

Does work over time.
Ok, our Bella,…(our rescue dog) has shaky legs. I have been giving her this constantly once a day for a few weeks, I do see some improvement.
This bottle is good despite other complaints. I am care when I pour so I do not know what others are talking about unless you are not careful. I give her about a tablespoon. Not more. She is 80lbs! Don’t care what it say, it seems to work. About 40% improvement. So some improvement if they take it consistently and over time
Note: I do walk her twice a day, a total of 45 minutes. That helps with strengthening legs. **Don’t just give them this and let the dog lay there!…all animals and people need some exercise.
Bella came from a house where they never walked her, in back yard just let her 🙁 So she had more health problems . Since March her health improved greatly.

Best vegatarian glucosamine for dogs
I have done much research online looking for the best vegetarian glucosamine for my dog. I truly believe liquid health is the one. I like that they check their product for heavy metal contaminants. They also have very good customer service. The only problem I’ve had was with the spout cap on the bottle leaking. The person I spoke with said they were redesigning the cap and would be in production soon. She said she would send me some replacement caps until then. Great product.

This product has helped a lot.
I am so thankful for this product. I have an older dog and I can tell her hips are starting to bother her, so I looked into getting her a supplement for her hips and joints, especially after the last product we used was discontinued. The main component of which is usually glucosamine. Well, usually glucosamine is shellfish derived, and after giving my dog a single treat, we found out she has a fairly severe shellfish allergy. One vet visit later and after scouring the globe via the interweb, I’ve found out the large (very large) majority of glucosamine based treats are derived from shellfish. Enter this product. No shellfish, no allergic reaction. I’ve been giving her the prescribed dosage for a few weeks now, and although it still seems like she has some occasional hip discomfort, I think this product has helped a lot. Admittedly, it’s not quite as easy as just feeding her a treat, but I mix this in with a small bit of wet treat food, so she’s definitely not complaining. Also, price wise was much more affordable than the supplemental treats we’ve tried previously. All in all, I think we’ll keep with this for a while.

What a life saver!
I’ve been giving this product to our elderly and arthritic Westie for about 2 1/2 years and honestly, I doubt our dog would be with us if not for K9 Glucosamine. With spine and hip pain our dog was often in too much pain to eat, sometimes even to drink let alone attempt bowel movements. Now, and although just like me some days are better than others, our Westie can “prance” down the street, even at times hop off our sofa. To be frank, when I first gave this item to Sadie I never dreamed it would be so effective but for her it has been. This product, and perhaps others like it, is well worth giving to your dog or cat to see what mobility improvements there might be.

My dog loves the veggie glucosamine.
I love this product. I give it to my golden retriever. Easy to use. She loves it. I also like the vegetarian component, as we both have a Kosher diet, including no pork. Very happy with it. Lasts a month for a large dog. Tasty for her too. Can be mixed in wet or dry dog food or given by itself. It is very affordable too. Not expensive. Thanks for making this product.

It really seems to make a difference.
For several years now, since she showed signs of limping, this has been given once a day (approx. one teaspoon) with meals to an Australian Shepherd. It really seems to make a difference. I appreciate that this formula is vegetarian, especially because otherwise, it could be more allergenic. Also, it helps in dispensing, because it is a liquid.
